This authentic 1820’s Wayne County log house was dismantled, moved several miles, then meticulously reconstructed within nine acres of old growth forest. East of Wooster, it is located near the nation’s largest Amish settlement (Holmes County) and a variety of shopping, dining, historical and cultural destinations.
Not only a bed and breakfast — but also a museum-quality restoration of an early German-style log structure.
Your Hosts
The Lochers work privately as design and decorating consultants for the restoration of early period homes. Paul is the author of books on Wayne County history and is widely regarded as one of the region’s leading historians, antiquarians and experts on pioneer living.
